PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a high-performance iron-based rare earth nano-composite magnet powder.
SOLUTION : The production method includes the steps of : preparing a molten alloy having a composition expressed by the formula : T100-x-y-z-nQxRyTizMn (wherein T is Fe or a transition metal element obtained by replacing a portion of Fe by at least one element chosen from the group consisting of Co and Ni; Q is at least one element chosen from the group consisting of B and C; R is a rare earth element; and M is a metal element), provided that the compositional ratios x, y, z and n satisfy the relations : 5≤x≤10 atom%, 7≤y≤10 atom%, 0.1≤z≤5 atom% and 0≤n≤10 atom%, respectively; quenching and solidifying the same; coarsely grinding the obtained solidified alloy; heating the same; preparing a composite magnet; and pulverizing the same.
