A rotating machine using a ferrite sintered magnet which has an M-type ferrite structure, contains as essential elements Ca, R-elements being at least one of rare earth elements and essentially containing La, Ba, Fe and Co and has the composition of the formula Ca1-x-yRxBayFe2n-zCoz [wherein (1-x-y), x, y, z and n are the contents and molar ratios of Ca, R-elements, Ba and Co, respectively, and are numeric values satisfying the relationships 0.3y]. Further, there is provided a bonded magnet composed of a ferrite powder of the above composition and a binder, and provided a magnet roll having at least one magnetic pole part thereof constituted of the above bonded magnet.© KIPO & WIPO 2009 |
