PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To maintain activity-maintaining effects of noble metal particles without increasing a manufacturing cost and an environment load.
SOLUTION : An exhaust gas purifying catalyst comprises a noble metal particle 1, a first compound 2 supporting the noble metal particle 1 and suppressing a movement of the noble metal particle 1, and a second compound 3 which involves the noble metal particle 1 and the first compound 2, suppresses the movement of the noble metal particle 1, and at the same time, suppresses an aggregation of the first compounds 2 accompanying a mutual contact of the first compounds 2. The first compound is a composite containing rare earth elements.
