FIELD : chemistry.SUBSTANCE : catalyst carrier consists of at least one aluminium oxide phase, chosen from a group consisting of alpha-aluminium oxide and theta-aluminium oxide with content of alpha-aluminium oxide in the carrier less than 20 wt %, as well as aluminate of at least one rare-earth metal, with molar ratio of aluminium to the rare-earth metal ranging from 11 : 1 to 14 : 1, and in quantity from approximately 1 wt % to less than approximately 100 wt % of the total mass of the carrier.
