An apparatus for repelling elasmobranchs is provided comprising an electropositivemetal, preferably lanthanide metal or mischmetal in the shape of a cylinder, cone, circle, cube, disk, bar, sphere, plate, rod, ring, tube, stick or block. An apparatus is disclosed comprising anelectropositive metal and a buoy, a barge, a net, fish hook, surfboard, fishing tackle or anycombination thereof. |
