PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for converting a polyester or polycarbonate to a re-polymerizable depolymerized product and a method for producing the polyester or polycarbonate from the depolymerized product as low energy- consuming and environmentally acceptable type methods. SOLUTION : (1) This method for depolymerizing the polyester or polycarbonate in the presence of a hydrolase in a supercritical fluid, and (2) the method for producing the polyester or polycarbonate by polymerizing the depolymerized product or one or more of a group consisting of a cyclic polyester oligomer, cyclic polylactone oligomer, lactone, and cyclic carbonate in the presence of a hydrolase, or a polymerization catalyst in the supercritical fluid, are provided. |
