简介 A method of manufacturing a heat resistant extruded Mg alloy with high quality inexpensively is provided to secure extrudability, suppress blackening of an extruded material during extrusion, obtain mechanical strength of the extruded material and the heat resistant extruded Mg alloy manufactured thereby are provided, a method of manufacturing a plastic worked article and the plastic worked article manufactured thereby are provided, and a method of manufacturing an Mg alloy plastic worked article and the Mg alloy plastic worked article manufactured thereby are provided. A method of manufacturing a heat resistant magnesium alloy plastic worked article having a tensile strength of at least 180 MPa at 150 deg.C comprises : holding a magnesium alloy melt to a temperature of 650 to 700 deg.C in an inert atmosphere, the magnesium alloy melt comprising (1) at least one selected from the group consisting of 1 to 10% by mass of aluminum, 0.2 to 5% by mass of zinc and 0.2 to 5% by mass of silver, (2) at least one selected from the group consisting of 0.2 to 5% by mass of rare earth metal, 0.02 to 5% by mass of calcium, 0.02 to 5% by mass of strontium, and 0.2 to 5% by mass of silicon, and (3) at least one selected from the group consisting of 1.5% by mass or less of manganese and 1.5% by mass or less of zirconium with the balance being magnesium and inevitable impurities; manufacturing a columnar cast billet from the melt by die casting or continuous casting; extruding the cast billet under conditions including a billet temperature of 350 to 450 deg.C, a container temperature of 350 to 450 deg.C and a dies temperature of 450 to 550 deg.C to manufacture an extrudate; and holding temperature of the extrudate to a range of 300 to 500 deg.C, and holding a mold temperature to a range of 10 to 30 deg.C that is lower than the holding temperature of the extrudate, thereby performing plastic working.
