PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To inexpensively provide a high strength, long-length rare earth element magnetic molded body which, while maintaining its high magnetic force, has improved strength to thereby be hardly bent and can be made compact.
SOLUTION : The high strength, long-length rare earth element magnetic molded body 141 is formed by compression molding or injection molding a magnetic compound in a magnetic field, the magnetic compound containing : magnetic powder containing a rare earth element; a synthetic resin adhesive; and glass fiber or a resin containing glass fiber. A magnet roller is also provided and is characterized in that it is formed by injection molding the high strength, long-length rare earth element magnetic molded body 141 in a space where a magnetic field is applied in one direction by an electromagnet, and that the high strength, long-length rare earth element magnetic molded body 141 is disposed in a concave groove provided in the surface of a tubular or cylindrical magnetic field generating means 140 and extending in the lengthwise direction thereof.
