PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of an organic EL display of high definition and high manufacturing throughput to form a color conversion layer with a high yield which does not become a supply source of moisture to cause the generation of a dark area and a dark spot being a pixel defect.
SOLUTION : The color conversion layer containing a rare-earth element, Si or Ge is formed by a dry process. In other words, after forming a transparent inorganic material membrane on a glass substrate, by ion-injecting the rare-earth element, Si or Ge being a fluorescent material into the inorganic material membrane, or by forming the transparent inorganic material membrane while adding the rare-earth element, Si or Ge, the color conversion layer of the organic EL display is formed.
