PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an earth-conscious refrigerating device capable of suppressing cost increase of the refrigerating device.
SOLUTION : This refrigerating device includes a plurality of adsorption units (first and second adsorption units 8, 18) respectively comprising an adsorbent 9 having a function for adsorbing and desorbing carbon dioxide and substantially not adsorbing hydrocarbon, and a compressor 2. A switching means (four-way valve 6) is disposed to switch the connection of the compressor 2 and each of the adsorption units between a state that a discharge side 2A of the compressor 2 is connected with one of the adsorption units (first adsorption unit 8), and its suction side 2B is connected with the other adsorption unit (second adsorption unit 18), and a state that the discharge side 2A of the compressor 2 is connected with the other adsorption unit, and the suction side 2B is connected with one of the adsorption units. Further, the device includes a pressure reducing means (first capillary tube 12) for reducing a pressure of a refrigerant through the adsorption unit (first adsorption unit 8) connected with the discharge side 2A of the compressor 2 by the switching means, and an evaporator 13 for evaporating the refrigerant of which the pressure is reduced.
