PURPOSE : A phosphor based on halo-silicate is provided to change wavelength according to the kind and content of alkaline earth metal and to increase emitting wavelength and luminance selective use of an activator.CONSTITUTION : A method for manufacturing phosphor based on halo-silicate comprises the steps of : weighting strontium(Sr), calcium(Ca), barium(Ba) and silicon(Si) precursors and a base material of halogenated ammonium in a ratio of the phosphor represented by formula 1 : (Sr5-x-yCaxBay)Si2O7X4 : Eua, then mixing the materials in solvent; drying the mixture in an oven of 100~150 °C; and heat-treating the dried mixture in a mixed gas atmosphere of nitrogen and hydrogen in a weight ratio of 75~95 : 25~5.
