PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a ceramic composite suitable for a fluophor for projector and a light emitting device.
SOLUTION : There is provided a ceramic composite consisting of an inorganic material having a fluophor phase consisting of YAG containing Ce or BAl5O12, wherein B is at least one kind selected from rare earth elements except Ce, to which Ce is contained, and a scatterer phase consisting of a light transmissive ceramic, in which the content of the fluophor phase is 90 vol% to 99 vol%, and the content of the scatterer phase is 1 vol% to 10 vol%.
