PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of efficiently manufacturing rare earth-iron-nitrogen magnet powder for bond magnets which is excellent in thermal stability and has a high magnetic property by controlling the temperature rise of slurry during wet pulverization.
SOLUTION : There is provided the method of manufacturing rare earth-iron-nitrogen magnet powder for bond magnets for pulverizing earth-iron-nitrogen magnet coarse powder in an organic solvent to which phosphoric acid is added and then performing solid liquid separation, and then heating and drying separated fine powder at the temperature of ≥150°C. The method of manufacturing rare earth-iron-nitrogen magnet powder for bond magnets is characterized in that the temperature of slurry is set not to exceed 50°C by cooling the slurry including the rare earth-iron-nitrogen alloy powder during pulverization of the rare earth-iron-nitrogen alloy powder.
