PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas, which has high thermal durability. SOLUTION : This catalyst for cleaning exhaust gas is composed of a catalyst depositing layer and a noble metal catalyst and a NOx storage material which are deposited on the catalyst depositing layer.
