PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an allergen-reducing composition which can be added to a nonwoven fabric, a fiber or fiber product, and an interior material for building as a waterproof processing; and to provide an interior material for building, such as a nonwoven fabric, a fiber or fiber product, a wallpaper, a floor material, and a ceiling material, having allergen-reducing performance.SOLUTION : The allergenic ability of allergens such as mite and cedar pollen can be reduced by using an allergen-reducing composition containing at least one type of metal selected from a rare earth metal, zinc and copper, and a salt of a monovalent or bivalent carboxylic acid having 6 to 12 carbon atoms. Also, waterproof functions for reducing the allergenic ability can be added to a carpet, a rush mat, bedding, a curtain, clothing, a stuffed toy, a mask, a fiber or fiber product including a filter material, a dust collecting bag in a vacuum cleaner, etc., and an interior material for building including a wallpaper, a floor material, a ceiling material, etc. |
