PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a heat-resistant compound oxide whose cleaning performance is prevented from deteriorating even in a high-temperature oxidation reduction atmosphere, an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst containing a compositional component which is carried on or mixed with a perovskite type compound oxide, and a production method for the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst capable of sufficiently distributively carrying the perovskite type compound oxide in the heat-resistant compound oxide.
