PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electrostatic precipitator which overcome the problems that the number of electrode plates, the material cost, the working steps and the mass are increased when a spacer is inserted to retain the distance of electrodes in a precipitator earth ground electrode plate, and that the dust collection performance is reduced because the electric charges on the electric insulated film surface escapes on contact with the dust collection earth ground when the precipitator earth ground electrode plate is covered with the electric insulated film so that the unevenness on the surface of the precipitator earth ground electrode plate only by piling up them in order to retain the distance of electrodes.
SOLUTION : The number of components, the number of assembling steps, the material cost and the mass can be reduced by installing an earth ground electrode plate convex part 16 to the precipitator earth ground electrode plate 11 and alternately arranging them to keep the distance of each precipitator earth ground electrode plate 11 constant and by installing an opening part 17 so that avoids the earth ground electrode plate convex part 16 of the precipitator earth ground electrode plate 11 at a precipitator positive electrode plate 12 alternately arranged with the precipitator earth ground electrode plate 11. Thus, the spacer 10 is unnecessary because the distance of the electrodes of the precipitator earth ground electrode plate 11 is maintained.
