PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth magnet that can obtain the sufficient adhesion strength between a magnet element assembly and a copper plated layer.SOLUTION : The present invention relates to the method for manufacturing the rare earth magnet that has the magnet material body containing rare earth elements and the copper plated layer formed on the surface of the magnet material body; and the method includes a pretreatment process to adhere preprocessing solution including potassium pyrophosphate and/or sodium pyrophosphate with an ion concentration of the pyrophosphate acid of no less than 60 g/L, and a plating process that forms the copper plated layer on the surface of the magnet material body by performing plating using copper plating liquid containing copper ion and pyrophosphoric acid ion on the magnet material body subjected to pretreatment process.COPYRIGHT : (C)2009, JPO&INPIT |
