PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an alloy production device which can produce a rare earth magnet having high coercive force.
SOLUTION : The alloy production device 1 at least comprises : a casting apparatus 2 casting alloy molten metal by a strip casting process; a crushing apparatus 21 crushing the cast alloy after the casting; a heat insulation apparatus 3 holding the temperature of the cast alloy slabs N after the crushing; and a storage vessel 5 storing the cast alloy slabs N after heat insulation. The heat insulation apparatus 3 is composed of : heat insulation containers 32 storing the cast alloy slabs N fed from the crushing apparatus 21; a heat insulation heater holding the temperature of the cast alloy slabs N in the heat insulation containers 32; and a tilting apparatus 33 tilting the heat insulation containers 32 and feeding out the cast alloy slabs N in the heat insulation containers 32 to the storage vessel 5.
