PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare-earth metal bond magnet which has high moldability and improved thermal resistance without deteriorating its magnetic characteristic.
SOLUTION : In the method of manufacturing a rare-earth metal bond magnet, a mixture of rare-earth magnet powder, a metal bonding phase and additives is compressed and molded, micro waves are directed to the compressed and molded product, and the metal bonding phase is sintered by heat generation by the rare-earth magnet powder.
