PURPOSE : A herb medicine composition is provided to show significant therapeutic effect on cupping for removing extravasated blood without side effects and be non-toxic.
CONSTITUTION : A herb medicine composition comprises 1-2 parts by weight of Korean Cinnamomi ramulus, 1-2 parts by weight of root of Zingiber officinale, 1-2 parts by weight of Mentha arvensis var. piperascens, 1.2-2parts by weight of Artemisia absinthium, 1-2parts by weight of Coicis semen, 2-3parts by weight of Angelicae Gigantis Radix, 1.7-2.5parts by weight of Ligusticum wallichii, 1.8-2.5parts by weight of Paeoniae radix, 1-2parts by weight of Glycyrrhiza uralensis, 1-2parts by weight of pine needles, 1.5-2.5 parts by weight of poria cocos Wolf, 2-3parts by weight of Houttuynia cordata, 2-3parts by weight of Saururus chinensis, 1.8-2.5parts by weight of Leonurus sibiricus, 1.2-2parts by weight of Teucrium veronicoides, 1-2parts by weight of Acanthopanax, 1-2parts by weight of Aurantii Immatri Pericarpium, 2-3 parts by weight of alum, 2-2.5parts by weight of Caesalpinia Sappan, 2-2.5 parts by weight of Coptis Rhizoma. A method for preparing the herb medicine composition comprises the steps of : (a) after removing impurities from the herb medicines, washing them with water and drying them, fumigating them with ethylene oxide to sterilize; (b) extracting the sterilized herb medicines with at least one solvent selected from the group consisting of alcohol, phenol, hexa decanoic acid, ethyl linoleate, and isopropyl myristate; (c) after refrigerating the herb medicine ingredients dissolved in the solvent at a temperature of 0-4 deg.C for 15-20 days and filtering it, washing and precipitating it with small amount of petroleum ether and then re-ripening it at room temperature for 15-20 days; (d) mixing the re-ripened herb medicine ingredients with a herb medicine ingredient.
