The invention provides a humanized immunoglobulin light chain comprising (i) at least one variable region complementarity determining region (CDR) from the 3 6 immunoglobulin light chain variable region sequence set forth as SEQ ID NO : 2, and (ii) a variable framework region from a human acceptor immunoglobulin light chain sequence, wherein the light chain comprises (a) at least one substitution of a canonical framework residue; and (b) at least one substitution of an interchain packing amework residue; and, optionally (c) at least one substitution of a vernier zone framework residue or at least one substitution of a rare framework residue, and, wherein the substitution is with the corresponding amino acid residue from the mouse 3D6 light chain variable region sequence. |
