PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To decrease the quantity of radioactive substances which reach the ground surface, by restraining organic radioactive substances in radioactive waste that has been buried in the ground from moving.
SOLUTION : In a radioactive waste disposal container 1 for accommodating radioactive waste, a member provided by surrounding it is made to contain at least one kind of either rare earth oxide or zirconium oxide to make the organic radioactive substances adsorbed. In this case, the rare earth oxide is at least either europium oxide or praseodymium oxide.
