PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To disclose an exhaust gas suppressant catalyst that improves catalytic efficiency by increasing gas diffusibility of an exhaust gas in catalytic layers.
SOLUTION : The exhaust gas catalyst is one including at least a carrier and a plurality of layers formed on the carrier, and at least one of a plurality of the layers has voids in the layer, at least one of a plurality of the layers is configured by having the voids in the layer, and is configured by including a composite oxide of a noble metal, alumina, ceria and zirconia, and rare earth metals of one kind or two kinds or more excluding ceria as principal components, as the catalytic components.
