PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a wear-resistant steel sheet having excellent bendability, with respect to the wear-resistant steel sheet which is suitably used for members having a possibility of causing abrasion by contact with earth and sand, of industrial machinery and conveyance equipment, such as power shovels, bulldozers, hoppers and buckets, used in the fields of construction, civil engineering, mining, etc.
SOLUTION : The steel sheet has a composition containing, by mass, 0.05 to 0.20% C and 0.1 to 1.0% Nb and having a solid-solution C content of ≤0.03% and also has a structure in which matrix is composed of a ferrite phase and a hard phase is dispersed in the matrix. Moreover, Ti, and/or one or more elements among Si, Mn, Cu, Mo, W and V, and/or either or both of Ni and B, and/or Cr, and/or Al can be selectively contained. By this method, resistance particularly to abrasion by earth and sand etc. and bendability can be drastically improved without being accompanied with excessively high hardness.
