简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To simplify a coarse grinding process, in hydrogenation disintegration treatment constituting one of comminution steps in a mixing method using an R-T-B alloy an R-T alloy, by comminuting the two kinds of alloys into coarse powder of an average particle size of several hundreds of microns without any particular control/equipment. SOLUTION : A strip of the R-T-B alloy composed essentially of an R2Fe14B compound and an ingot of the R-T alloy composed essentially of R and T are provided, and hydrogen absorption/desorption treatment is applied to the R-T-B alloy strip and the R-T alloy ingot to obtain the coarsely comminuted powder. The coarsely comminuted powder is pulverized, and the resultant fine powder is compacted in a magnetic field to obtain a green compact. The green compact is sintered and further subjected to aging-treatment. Because the R-T alloy in the form of an ingot prepared by a casting method is adopted, comminution by hydrogen absorption/desorption treatment is made possible. COPYRIGHT : (C)2004, JPO
