PURPOSE : A method and an apparatus for separating and discharging oil as a contamination source by mixing and stirring a mixture of water and APG(alkyl poly glucosides) as a nonionic surfactant with the contaminated soil in order to remediate crushed contaminated soil or contaminated soil having high water content and small particle size such as mud and sandy soil are provided.
CONSTITUTION : A remediation method of soil contaminated with oil comprises : a first step of separating and crushing contaminated soil into soil grains with a grain size of 50 mm or less; a second step of simultaneously cleaning the crushed soil in a vibrating screen cleaner(21) and separating coarse aggregate with a grain size of 5 to 25 mm from the cleaned soil; a third step of flowing a mixed liquid of soil grains with a grain size of 5 mm or less, cleaning water, and separated oil into a classifier(31) to separate fine aggregate with a grain size of 0.01 to 5 mm from the classifier; a fourth step of flowing a mixed liquid of residual earth, cleaning water and separated oil into a chemical reaction tank(41), adding a coagulant into the chemical reaction tank, and agitating the coagulant with the mixed liquid; a fifth step of flowing the coagulant-added mixed liquid into a settling tank(51), and respectively separating the residual earth, cleaning water, and separated oil in the form of layers; and a sixth step of concentrating and dehydrating the residual earth discharged from the bottom of the settling tank, and respectively separating the cleaning water and separated oil flown over an upper part of the settling tank, wherein the remediation method further comprises a surface activity step performed between the first step and the second step to agitate the contaminated soil with cleaning water containing 0.3 to 6.0 wt.%% of APG(alkyl poly glucosides) for 3 hours.
