PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dynamo-electric machine in which the efficiency is enhanced by reducing the eddy current loss generated in a permanent magnet arranged on the rotor of a dynamo-electric machine.SOLUTION : In a dynamo-electric machine including a stator winding and a stator core around which the stator winding is wound, and a rotor arranged on the inner peripheral side of the stator core concentrically thereto, where the rotor is provided with a permanent magnet becoming a field source, one rotor magnetic pole is constituted of a plurality of rare earth permanent magnets of more than one type having different residual magnetic flux density, and the rare earth permanent magnets are arranged so that the residual magnetic flux density per unit area is different on the rotation lead side and the rotation lag side from the magnetic pole center. Consequently, loss of a dynamo-electric machine is reduced, and a dynamo-electric machine having enhanced efficiency can be provided. |
