PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a mixed ion conductor in which the chemical stability of a mixed ion conductor using a perovskite type oxide is still more improved, in consideration of the service environment in a fuel cell or the like.
SOLUTION : The mixed ion conductor comprises a perovskite type oxide expressed by formula : BadZr1-x-yCexM3yO3-t (wherein M3 is at least one kind of an element selected from trivalent rare earth elements and Bi, Ga, Sn, Sb and In; d is from 0.98 or above to 1 or below; x is from 0.01 or above and 0.5 or below; y is from 0.01 or above and 0.3 or below; and t is from (2+y-2d)/2 or above and less than 1.5).
