PURPOSE : A method and an apparatus for installing a hybrid type horizontal underground water intake pipe using an entrance sleeve is provided to secure safe raw water on a long term basis by preventing water and earth from directly entering a vertical collector well and improving the quality of raw water through a filter medium for improving the quality of water at the same time in a process of installing the horizontal intake pipe in the vertical collector well.
CONSTITUTION : An apparatus for installing a hybrid type horizontal underground water intake pipe using an entrance sleeve comprises an entrance sleeve(10), an outer horizontal casing, a drill shoe, a pressure water pipe, a propeller, an earth-and-sand discharging pipe, a strainer, an underground water ring, a filter medium for improving water quality, a parker member, and a valve. The entrance sleeve comprises : a sleeve body(11) inserted into a vertical collector well(1); packing members(13) triply connected to an inner part of the sleeve body to block the infiltration of water or earth of the underground into a space between the sleeve body and an outer horizontal casing in a process of inserting or extracting the outer horizontal casing; and underground water covers(15, 16) clamped to the front and rear of the sleeve body to prevent water or earth of the underground from infiltrating into the vertical collector well in a process of inserting the vertical collector well into the ground.
