PURPOSE : A contamination control system having functions of reinforcing a surface part, protecting a liner, blocking stored water and adsorbing contaminated water in water storage facilities by using a reactive shotcrete, a reactive spray protection mat and a reactive spray waterproof mat containing a reactive material is provided.
CONSTITUTION : A contamination control system comprises : a reactive shotcrete(1), a reactive spray protection mat(2) and a reactive spray waterproof mat(3) placed on a surface(50) of a rock bed slope, an earth and sand slope, an embankment, a breast wall or a waterproof wall that forms a side face of storage facilities such as a waste landfill, a leachate storage tank, a mine wastewater storage tank, a wastewater storage tank, a sludge storage tank, a reservoir, a water storage basin, and a pond; and a bentonite mat(4), a Geomembrane(5) and a Geocomposite(or Geotextile)(6) sequentially installed on an upper portion of the reactive spray waterproof mat. The reactive shotcrete is installed on the surface of the rock bed slope, the earth and sand slope, the embankment, the breast wall or the waterproof wall that forms the side face of the storage facilities, comprises sand, gravel, cement and a reactive material(1) as principal materials and has functions of controlling, adsorbing and removing contaminants contained in contaminated water and leachate discharged by damages of a liner. The reactive spray protection mat is installed on the surface of the rock bed slope, the earth and sand slope, the embankment, the breast wall or the waterproof wall, or on an upper part of the reactive shotcrete. The reactive spray waterproof mat is installed on the surface of the rock bed slope, the earth and sand slope, the embankment, the breast wall or the waterproof wall, or on an upper part of the reactive shotcrete or the reactive spray protection mat.
