PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a duplex monitoring control system wherein it is rare that access to a remote input/output device can not be performed even when a fault occurs at two or more parts and the reliability of the system is improved, and its redundant switching method.
SOLUTION : In the duplex monitoring control system, each of a pair of control parts 1 and 1B is provided with a plurality of first loop interface parts 1a and 1b, second loop interface parts 2a and 2b and communication cables 4a and 4b for connecting the plurality of first loop interface parts and second loop interface parts in a circle. The control part 1 and a remote input/output part 2 are constituted of a plurality of loop networks. When the abnormality of the loop network is detected from reception data in the network, the first loop interface part and the second loop interface part capable of normal reception are automatically selected.
