Alloy comprises cobalt (21-23 wt.%), chromium (16-24 wt.%), aluminum (11.5-13.5 wt.%), yttrium and/or at least a metal from scandium or rare earth elements (0.5- 0.7 wt.%), hafnium (0.15-0.35 wt.%), silicon (0.3-0.5 wt.%), rhenium (up to 6 wt.%) and the rest of nickel. Independent claims are included for : (a) protection layer (7) comprising the alloy for the protection of a layer system (1) from corrosion and/or oxidation, preferably at high temperatures; and (b) a gas turbine layer system comprising the protection layer. |
