PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a powder feeding device and a powder feeding method, which surely inhibit non-uniformity of the packing density of molding powder in spite of the simple structure of the device, to provide a molding machine and a molding method, which inhibit non-uniformity of the density of a molded product, and to provide a method for manufacturing a rare earth sintered magnet.
SOLUTION : A die cavity is filled with molding powder by a reciprocation movement of a housing part (feeder box 11), which has an opening at its bottom part and forms a molding powder feeding space to house the molding powder. An opening size (d) of the opening of the feeder box 11 in the reciprocative direction is not larger than an opening size D of a die cavity 12 in the reciprocative direction. The reciprocation movement is performed such that an edge 12b in the rear side of the opening of the feeder box passes over both end parts 12a, 12b of the die cavity 12 in the reciprocative direction.
