PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a die head capable of solving the problem that a lip is mounted on an outside side face part and causes bleeding in a die coating method.
SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing a die head, which comprises an upstream side lip having an outside side face part, a slit side face part, and a tip end part; a downstream side lip having an outside side face part, a slit side face part, and a tip end part; and a slit part positioned between the upstream side lip and the downstream side lip, involves forming a water-repelling film on at least a portion of the outside side face parts except the slit side face parts and the tip end parts of the die head by plasm CVD method using a rare gas and raw material gases containing the water-repelling material.
