PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a wet type crusher capable of reducing the frequency of exchange by extending the life of a wearing part (crushing tooth) without deterioration of crushing efficiency. SOLUTION : The wet type crusher is provided with a rotary crushing tooth (1) fixed on the circumference of a circle of a rotary shaft (3), a fixed crushing tooth (2) cooperating with the rotary crushing tooth (1). The fixed crushing tooth (2) is constituted so that the gap (δ, the sign in fig. 9) between the rotary crushing tooth (1) and the fixed crushing tooth (2) can be adjusted and the rotary crushing tooth (1) can be rotated in both normal and reverse directions (clockwise and counterclockwise shown by β, an arrow in fig. 2), and materials to be crushed (M, for example, lumps and small stones coexisting in earth and sand) are crushed in both the normal and reverse directions.
