This invention provides a stress luminescent structure comprising a stress luminescent material for forgery prevention for stocks and bonds and the like. The stress luminescent structure comprises a specific stress luminescent material, for example, a stress luminescent material that has a basic structure, for forgery prevention, comprising an alkali metal ion and/or an alkaline earth metal ion inserted into a space of a matrix structure formed by a plurality of molecules having a polyhedric structure, and a part of the alkali metal ion and/or alkaline earth metal ion inserted into the above space is substituted by at least one metal ion selected from the group consisting of rare earth metal ions, transition metal ions, group III metal ions, and group IV metal ions, or a stress luminescent material comprising a mixed phase in which a plurality of crystal structures are present as a mixture. Accordingly, the stress luminescent structure can emit light even upon slight deformation by hand, and, thus, the genuine and the spurious can be simply judged for a long period of time without a special device and labor. |
