PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a tile having a cover layer and a porous layer and wherein these layers are firmly bound, and its manufacturing method.
SOLUTION : The tile 1 is obtained by the following process : a first slurry is poured into the recess of a gypsum mold and left at rest for a given time, the inner surface of the recess absorbs water in the slurry and the solid portion in the slurry adheres to the inner surface, excess slurry is drained from the gypsum mold so as to form a first green body that will become a cover layer 2, after demolding a second slurry that contains at least one of combustible particles, hollow particles and bubbles is poured into the first green body or a rammed earth is filled into the first green body so as to form a second green body for a porous layer 3, and then they are dried and fired to obtain the tile 1. Wherein the body component in the second slurry or the rammed earth has about the same composition as the body component in the first slurry.
