PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To facilitate manufacture by decreasing the number of components thereby simplifying the structure, and to enhance motor performance.
SOLUTION : The brushless motor 19 having a rotor core 12 provided with a permanent magnet comprises a rotor 10 having a groove where the width a in the circumferential direction of an opening 16 is narrower than the width b in the circumferential direction at a portion on the inner side of the opening in the side face of the rotor opposing the armature, and an anisotropic rear earth bond magnet 30 inserted into the groove 20. Since a part of a curved surface 32 on the outer circumferential side of the anisotropic rear earth bond magnet opposes the teeth of the stator directly through a gap, reluctance of the magnetic circuit can be minimized.
