PURPOSE : An earth resistance lowering agent including mixture of bentonite, aluminum hydroxide, graphite and potassium chloride is provided to retain a constant earth resistance after construction, to prevent corrosion of an earth rod, soil contamination and generation of soil erosion by blending the mixture in water in a relative ratio of 1 : 2.
CONSTITUTION : The earth resistance lowering agent is manufactured by placing 40 to 75wt.%% of bentonite, 7 to 22wt.%% of aluminum hydroxide, 11 to 20wt.%% of graphite and 7 to 20wt.%% of potassium chloride in a ball mill and uniformly blending all of the components; and adding water to the mixture in a relative ratio of the mixture to water of 1 : 2. The agent is used to reduce the earth resistance of an earth rod by filling the agent between outer side of an earth rod(3) and a punctured hole(1) after concentrically inserting the earth rod(3).
