FIELD : organic chemistry, chemical technology.SUBSTANCE : invention elates to a method for synthesis of 5-[ortho-(para)-hydroxyphenyl]-1, 3, 5-dithiazines. Method involves interaction of formalin an aqueous solution saturated with hydrogen sulfide with alcoholic solution of ortho-(para)-aminophenol at room temperature and stirring for 3 h. Synthesized substances can be used as potential reagents for inhibition of vital activity of bacteria in different media, sorbents of precious and rare metals.
