PURPOSE : A solar cell with a recess-type electrode is provided to be used in a polycrystalline silicon solar cell vulnerable to thermal budget by remarkably decreasing a high-temperature process.
CONSTITUTION : A solar cell with a recess-type electrode includes a metal electrode formed in a groove(G) formed in a substrate(1) wherein the metal electrode is made of a single structure. After paste or colloid(2) including conductive particles or a precursor of a conductive particle is injected into the groove, a heat treatment is performed to form the metal electrode. The conductive particle is made of silicide which is a compound of silicon and either one of transition metal or rare earth metal.
