A water ionizer having sterilization function which supplies high quality ion water that is not contaminated by microorganisms, obtains water with an uniform pH concentration, reduces formation of scales on a storage tank, and performs reverse current cleaning to suppress formation of scales on an inner part of an electrolyzer and improve life of an electrode is provided. A water ionizer(100) having sterilization function comprises : a storage tank part(200) for storing water flown in; a circulation type sterilization unit part(300) for sterilizing water supplied from the storage tank part to supply sterilized water into the storage tank part again; an electrolyzer(400) disposed downstream the storage tank part to ionize water supplied from the storage tank part; and a discharge part(500) comprising an acidic water drain part(520) for discharging acidic water generated from the electrolyzer to the outside, and an alkaline water extraction part(510) for discharging alkaline water to the outside. The storage tank part has a cold water tank(220) for cooling and storing water flown in. The sterilization unit part comprises a pressurization device(310) connected to the storage tank part to provide the storage tank part with pressure required for circulation, sterilization means(320) for sterilizing water supplied through the pressurization device, and a circulation pipe(330) for supplying water sterilized in the sterilization means to the storage tank part again. |
