简介 The optical biosensor, using an immunological reaction and a fluorescent marker which can be excited by a light ray, has a lightwave guide (1) of a material where the fluorescence can be excited spontaneously in the presence of a light beam. The material shows a spontaneous fluorescent curve with the fluorescent peak with a lightwave 1 second longer than the wavelength of the fluorescent peak of the marker in the sample. The waveguide material is of silicon nitride, titanium oxide or tantalum oxide, giving an intrinsic spontaneous fluorescence. The lightwave guide (1) is doped with a substance which gives a spontaneous fluorescence when excited. The guide can be coated with a layer of a material or a doped substance to give the spontaneous fluorescence. A diffraction network is linked to the lightwave guide to couple and uncouple the light beam, with an entry (3) and exit (4) diffraction network linked to the guide(s). The networks (3, 4) are formed by ridges in the surface (2) by micro-machining, embossing or injection molding. The lightwave guide surface has at least one diffraction network in a rectangular shape, with the ridges at right angles to the longer sides for coupling and parallel to them for uncoupling. At least one row of uncoupling diffraction networks is aligned with a row of reaction zones (6), or they are in rows flanking the reaction zones in an alignment to strengthen the uncoupled light beams. The reaction zones are in a capillary channel for sample suction. The light guide material can be doped additionally for fluorescent excitation in a third wavelength, using rare earths such as erbium or europium. An Independent claim is included for a measurement system with a biosensor, using a light source (7) to illuminate at least one diffraction network. At least one photo sensor (9) registers the uncoupled fluorescent light at the lightwave guide at the first wavelength, and a second photo sensor (8) registers the uncoupled fluorescent light at the second wavelength. Preferred Features : The biosensor is in a removable mounting. At least one additional sensor detects fluorescent light in a third wavelength.
