PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide variable/stationary modes of symbols to be displayed, when developing into a big winning mode that is advantageous for a player, with unexpectedness.
SOLUTION : A left symbol, a right symbol and a middle symbol are variably displayed (S202), then the left symbol, the right symbol and the middle symbol are displayed stationarily respectively; however, the mode of the stationary display is dependent on a variable pattern number acquired at the time (S204). This constitution makes it almost all the cases to stationarily display the symbols by a regular stop process (S204 : "No" and S206) and makes it a rare case to stationarily display them by a special stopping processing (S204 : "Yes" and S205).
