PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a resin composition containing a plant-derived biodegradable polymer obtained by actively immobilizing carbon oxide on the earth, excellent in impact resistance and heat resistance, and effective for preventing the warming of the earth and as carbon neutral.
SOLUTION : This resin composition comprises a biodegradable (3-hydroxyalkanoate) copolymer (A) composed of a repeating unit expressed by formula (1) : [-CHR-CH2-CO-O-] (R is an alkyl expressed by CnH2n+1, wherein n is an integer of 1 to 15) and a diene-based rubber graft copolymer (B), wherein the biodegradable (3-hydroxyalkanoate) copolymer (A) is contained in an amount of 50-99 wt.%, when a total amount of the copolymers (A) and (B) is referred to as 100 wt.%. The composition thus obtained has the characteristics stated in the above.
