PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a technique by which a soft magnetic alloy producible by rapidly cooling the molten metal of an alloy in the air atmosphere, having low core loss, high magnetic permeability and high saturation magnetic flux density, having more improved soft magnetic properties and simultaneously having a uniform sheet thickness can be obtained. SOLUTION : This soft magnetic alloy is obtained by precipitating fine crystal grains essentially consisting of a bcc phase of <=100 nm onto an alloy essentially consisting of an amorphous phase obtained by rapidly cooling the molten metal of an alloy. The alloy has a composition containing at least one of elements T selected from Fe, Co and Ni, at least one of elements M selected from V, Ti, Mn, Zr, Hf, Ta, Nb, Mo, W and Cr, at least one of elements X selected from B and C, 0.1 to 5 atomic % P and 0.01 to 2 atomic % rare earth elements. |
