简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a rare-earth alloy powder for a sintered magnet, which reduces an amount of oxygen taken into the powder of a cast alloy, avoids a decrease of an adulterant effect and a decrease of sinterability, and prevents a lowering of residual magnetization. SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing the rare-earth alloy powder for the sintered magnet comprises the step (1) of casting an alloy of RxT1-x-yBy(wherein, R is one or more elements selected among Nd, Pr, Dy, Tb and Ho; T is one or more elements selected among Fe, Co and Ni; x is 0.13 or more but 0.30 or less; and y is 0.06 or more but 0.15 or less), the step (2) of heat-treating the cast alloy obtained in the above step (1) at 1, 000 to 1, 120°C, the step (3) of pulverizing the heat-treatable alloy obtained in the above step (2), and the step (4) of selectively collecting particles attracted by a permanent magnet or an electromagnet out of the powders obtained in the above step (3).
