PURPOSE : A filter-less plasma display device and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to reduce a change of a dielectric constant by assigning various properties to an outermost cabinet glass.
CONSTITUTION : A plasma display device includes a plasma display panel(1), a cabinet(2), and a transparent cabinet protection plate(5). The plasma display panel is installed in the inside of the cabinet. The transparent cabinet protection plate is formed on a front surface of the cabinet. The transparent cabinet protection plate includes a rare-earth oxide. The transparent cabinet protection plate is formed of a soda lime-based glass. The rare-earth oxide is formed of an Nd oxide.
