PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer composition having excellent durability to ultraviolet ray, etc. and emitting prescribed fluorescence without impairing transparency of EVA.
SOLUTION : The ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer composition is obtained by formulating the copolymer with an organic rare earth complex emitting fluorescence having 550-900 nm wavelength in a ratio not exceeding 10 mass%. It is preferable that the complex contains Eu and Sm as rare earth, and contains a carboxylic acid, particularly an aromatic carboxylic acid, its derivative such as its alkyl substituent or a fatty acid, etc., β-diketone, particularly 1, 3-diphenyl-1, 3-propanedione, acetylacetone, benzoylacetone, etc. and further a nitrogen-containing organic compound, particularly a nitrogen-containing aromatic heterocyclic compound as a ligand.
